While natural stone surfaces look superb when new, ask
anyone their opinion soon after installation and you’ll get a
very different story.
Natural stone floors receive high amounts of traffic and tend to
lose their shine very quickly, and what once looked magnificent
soon turns into a maintenance nightmare. This to date has
resulted in expensive maintenance and upkeep ….UNTIL NOW
Natural stone is not an ideal material when exposed to the
elements. If left untreated for a very short period of time it will
bear no resemblance to the product when first laid. Unless
professionally cleaned and repolished, natural stone will
deteriorate beyond repair, leaving replacement the only
viable alternative.
To insure your natural stone products will provide you with
a lifetime of aesthetics and utility, a proper maintenance
program is crucial; natural stone products are porous by nature
and require a different maintenance program than traditional
ceramic tile.
Many of the cleaners acceptable for use on ceramic tile can
stain, damage or dull stone. Dirt and dust will scratch the
surface of stone. Therefore, stone floors should be vacuumed
or dust mopped frequently to remove abrasive agents from the
stone surface.

Natural stone should be cleaned with neutral cleaners. Stone
cleaners should never contain acid or bleach. Acids, even a
light solution of vinegar and water, will etch and eventually
damage natural stone.
THE BENEFITS:

• The floor is easy to care for with good slip resistance.
• Light scratches and minor damage is removed.
• Restores the marble to its original appearance and colour.
